Opentender data updates and improvements released
We are thrilled to share the latest developments in the iMonitor project, featuring a series of updates and enhancements to opentender.eu, the flagship platform maintained by the Government Transparency Institute. These improvements represent a significant step forward in our mission of providing timely access to public procurement data and fostering transparency and integrity in public procurement across Europe and beyond.
In line with iMonitor’s objectives, we have focused on expanding the range of integrity risk indicators, refining data analytics functionalities, and ensuring more frequent updates for our target countries: Italy, Lithuania, Romania, and Spain.
Following the recent publication of our updated risk assessment methodology, which included three new integrity indicators in our risk assessment framework, two of them are now live on the platform and can be used for an even more comprehensive assessment of public procurement risks in iMonitor countries, and the third indicator will follow soon.
Other improvements have been made to enhance the user experience on opentender.eu, enabling more intuitive navigation, improved search capabilities, and updated visualisation tools. Our streamlined integrity and transparency dashboards make it easier than ever to identify crucial insights and trends.
On the data front, we are proud to announce increased update frequencies for iMonitor countries. With weekly updates for Lithuania, Romania, and Spain, and monthly updates for Italy, opentender.eu users can now access the latest procurement data up to the first months of 2024. Plus, our improved data download functionalities now offer datasets in OCDS format and enhanced CSVs for deeper analysis.
