iMonitor Final Conference: Celebrating Achievements and Embracing the Future
Join us on the 27th of March, 2025 in Brussels!
As the iMonitor project concludes its first cycle (iMonitor 1.0), we are proud to announce our final conference, to be held on 27 March 2025 in Brussels. This event marks the culmination of two years dedicated to pioneering a model of civic monitoring in public procurement, developed in close collaboration with law enforcement partners across four European countries and regions: Italy, Lithuania, Romania, and Catalonia in Spain.
The conference will provide a forum for diverse perspectives on the vital role of civil society in combating corruption in public procurement. The program features a keynote address by Mr. Nicolae Ştefănuță, Vice-President of the European Parliament, alongside detailed contributions from the Government Transparency Institute and our national partners. Together, these presentations will set the stage for an in-depth discussion on how iMonitor has strengthened anticorruption efforts in public procurement and its vision for continued impact in the upcoming cycle (iMonitor 2.0), which promises an expanded geographic scope and further innovative developments.
A panel discussion on the role of big data and civil society in safeguarding public investment will follow, featuring representatives from DG REFORM, Transparency International, Italian National Anti-corruption Authority and the Government Transparency Institute. This session will place iMonitor in a broader context by contrasting it with other civil society-led approaches.
Join us in celebrating the achievements of iMonitor 1.0 and exploring best practices for effective public procurement monitoring. We look forward to welcoming you to Brussels!
