iMonitor 2.0 Kick-Off Meeting: Laying the Groundwork for Data-Driven Procurement Monitoring Across 7 Countries
On 20 June 2025, the iMonitor 2.0 consortium held its internal Kick-off meeting at Hotel Benczúr in Budapest. Seventeen representatives from both returning and new NGO partners across Spain (Catalonia), Romania, Italy, Poland, Bulgaria, Albania, and France, along with two public entities—ANAP (Romania’s National Agency for Public Procurement) and OAC (Catalonia’s Anti-Fraud Office)—gathered to officially launch the project’s technical and administrative work. An observer from Albania’s Supreme Audit Institution also attended.
The meeting successfully united the consortium, fostering a shared understanding of the project’s objectives, timelines, and responsibilities. Through collaborative sessions, participants established a strong foundation for the effective implementation of data analytics, reporting, training, and civic engagement activities. Partners concluded the meeting with clearly defined action items and a reinforced implementation framework, ready to drive forward the project’s overarching goal: strengthening civic monitoring of public procurement through data-driven approaches.
